Generally we work with buyers capable of committing to full container loads (FCL) per shipment — approximately 20–25 metric tons per 40ft reefer container. Standard payment terms are Letter of Credit (LC at sight) for new buyers, or bank transfer (T/T) with a deposit and balance against documents for established accounts. Payment terms are discussed and agreed on a per-buyer basis.

We primarily sell under FOB Montevideo (Incoterms 2020), meaning we deliver the goods to the Port of Montevideo. We can also discuss CIF or CFR pricing for buyers who prefer a delivered price to their destination port.

Yes. We welcome facility visits and audits from prospective buyers. Please contact us in advance to arrange a mutually convenient time. We are committed to transparency and have nothing to hide in our operations.
Is all your beef grass-fed?+
Yes. All cattle processed at Sirsil SA are sourced from Uruguay’s pasture-based livestock system. Uruguay’s beef industry is fundamentally a grass-fed system. Some animals may receive supplementary grain finishing in their final weeks, which is relevant for Hilton quota-eligible products.
How do you ensure product traceability?+
Uruguay’s mandatory SNIG system assigns unique electronic identification to every bovine from birth. This information is carried through slaughter and processing, allowing us to trace every lot of exported product back to the individual animal, farm of origin, and region of production. Full records are available for buyer or authority inspection upon request.
